Our award winning design for this new house completed the historic street frontage in a conservation area, using matching Suffolk white brick, natural slate and sash windows to harmonise with the adjacent listed Georgian house. The new house incorporated an existing single storey extension and garage, including the arched garden gate as the new front door. At the rear we used a warm red brick and modern catslide roof with large roof windows to enhance the spaciousness of the small rear garden and ensure plenty of light in the upstairs studio.
