New Mills Doocot

The above 17th century doocot is the only lectern-type doocot in Clackmannanshire. We carried out a conservation audit of it to help the Clackmannanshire Heritage Trust obtain grant aid for its conservation to benefit the local community and tourism. Other Clackmannanshire monuments we have inspected include the Johnstone Mausoleum and Windmill doocot.
