Small Extension
This very small extension to the back of a late Georgian town house has big advantages for the family, extending the kitchen into the the previous wash house and providing a connection with the area and steeply sloping garden behind the house. Our design uses a slate roof and boarded walls to give the extension the feeling of a summerhouse or garden room and make the new work clearly distinguishable from the original building. Original exposed drain pipes have been rerouted and concealed to help improve the appearance of the back of the house.
