Our study of the village of seaside settlement of Boulmer highlighted its special architectural and townscape features and historic interest, and made recommendations for negative and neutral areas and trends. We recommended statutory protection and outlined the boundaries of a potential conservation area, resulting in further detailed studies and consultations. The historic lifeboat house (below) is an important feature of the village.
