Our conservation area scoping study of the Northumberland village of Guyzance included archival research and site inspections to highlight its special architectural and townscape features and historic interest, negative and neutral areas and trends.

The study recommended statutory protection and outlined the boundaries of the potential Guyzance conservation area, resulting in further detailed studies and consultations with local people, and the designation of the conservation area.
