The small, picturesque village of Whitton is centred on an important Vicar's Pele, Whitton Pele Tower. Our scoping study examined the architectural and townscape features and historic interest of the village, and highlighted negative and neutral factors, prompting further study with a view to possible designation as a conservation area.
