Mill Restoration

This substantial ruined watermill will make a superb home

Robin Kent Architecture & Conservation is keen to see disused historic buildings given sustainable new uses that preserve their special character and appearance.

In this example, the proposed restoration of a ruined water mill as a luxurious new home in the countryside was granted planning permission following archival research by the consultancy to determine the original form of the building, meetings with highways and development control planners and a structural report to ensure that restoration would be feasible and acceptable to the Council.
