Robin Kent Architecture & Consevation is fully committed to the concept of conservation areas, based on researched analysis of their character and appearance, and has developed researched methodologies and checklists for assessing their special qualities, consistent with the latest good practice guidance. Our appraisals have been used in development control and planning inquiries and we have used our experience to deliver formal in-house training for planning officers and others, our aim being to ensure a clear, concise and practical approach that is easily accessible to busy officers and represents best value for authorities and the public.
