Robin Kent Architecture & Conservation specialises in the conservation of historic buildings and new design in sensitive historic contexts. Combining specialist qualifications and years of experience in our chosen field, we provide the special understanding and skills needed for sympathetic new developments, extensions alterations, refurbishment and repairs to meet modern expectations of design, convenience, comfort and accessibility.

Working closely with our clients, we aim to ease the burden of caring for old buildings and ensure that they are used sustainably and economically, providing the very best technical advice to ensure that their special interest and value is preserved and enhanced. Our design approach aims to translate our clients' needs into three dimensions in ways that are a delight to the eye as well as economic and environmentally friendly. It balances innovation with a sympathy for traditional building crafts, natural materials and sustainable technologies, so that the finished building makes a positive contribution to its setting and the wider environment and maintains its value for many years to come.

To achieve this, our services can include feasibility studies and reports, conceptual sketch schemes, outline, detailed and final design and conservation proposals, applications for approvals, technical specifications and production information, inviting competitive tenders from selected contractors, and full contract administration through to handover and completion.
